Mystic Heroes Turns 5!

Tonight, MH celebrated our 5th anniversary together as a guild.  We held our 5th annual Mystic Ball, that was the culmination of events that filled the month long celebration.  Earlier in the month MH had planned Old School raids commemorating the early days of our raiding together.  We blasted our way through Mt. Hyjal, Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, and The Sunwell Plateau.  In the middle of the month, I played DJ to the hotly contested Mystic Heroes Music Trivia battle royale.  It was the closest match up to date, with Hedley winning by only a few songs.  Last week we brought back the MH DJ Challenge, bringing together the music playlists of the past 5 years of leveling and playing in WoW.  The Mystic Ball was the capstone to a great month of fun.  Keltinn provided another great game of Find the Gnome in Shattrath City, and Dielorune created a new game called Assassin that we played in Stormwind City.  It's been a great 5 years heroes, here's looking toward the future.

News from around the guild

It's certainly been too long since our last update, but there is certainly a lot going on around Mystic Heroes these days.

Raid update!
Summer has taken it's toll on our 25-man raid team, we've made slow progress inside of Ulduar 25.  We've cleared up to the guardians, but conflicting schedules with numerous raiders has let us turn most of our attention these past months on Ulduar 10.

Early Group is currently working on the Yogg fight.  With a few adjustments being made to the Phase 2 portal teams, they will certainly have Yogg begging for an excedrin headache pill.  We'll post an update when they do.

RTTF (Late Group) is currently working on Trial of Champions 10 after defeating Yogg last week.  Thanks to Blizzard for allowing extended raid lock outs, that allowed RTTF to have an entire night to start fresh and work on figuring out how to beat the brain.

G3 is also doing great work inside of Uld-10.  They are setting their sights on Mimiron after beating all of the other guardians the past few weeks.  Gear upgrades are their focus right now, and Mimiron will be next to fall.

Great job to all the raid teams!

In other news, one of our longest standing members, Moby, has decided it was time to move on from World of Warcraft.  He has been a key member throughout the building of Mystic Heroes and he will be missed.  We hope to see him check in ocassionally on the forums, and we all hope the very best for him!

Blog? Yep, we have one!  We started a blog about, well, just about anything!  I've been working on a serial about the story of the guild, we have a few members who are working up new ideas and recipes to share as well.  It's not a focused blog, but a fun place to stop by and read about MH.  Stop by and check it out!
